The Role

As Deputy Global Sourcing Manager in the Strategic Global Sourcing Management team you will be contributing to the development and implementation of sourcing strategy on a global level. This role is based in our HQ in Lausanne and reports into the Senior Global Sourcing Manager.

In this role you will have a responsibility of sourcing for:
  • EE/ME (Electronic/Mechanic) components
  • Supplier management, price negotiation
  • Work with suppliers & engineering to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
  • New supplier sourcing & vendor selection
  • Negotiation with suppliers on the contract/agreements and business terms
  • Long term capacity planning and identifying sourcing bottlenecks to provide supplier roadmap and market trend & analysis to Business Units on regular basis
Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following skills to our team:
  • 4-8 years sourcing experience in EE (Electronic) component
  • Knowledge on cost breakdown and analysis
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and to work globally (3 regions: US, EMEA and AP)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
Education
  • Bachelor Degree or above (Electronic Engineering or Industrial Engineering will be the plus)
