Job Description

As a DesignOps, you will join Project Management department within the Product Design Team. You will take part of our Human-Centered Design process by creating and supporting the digital products of the bank throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your missions
  • Build a living Design System and ensure proper usage and adoption within Swissquote
  • Facilitate discussions about the Design System on all topics (guidelines, components, foundations, communication) and build an action plan
  • Review designers’ work to ensure compliance with our Design System while upholding our standards of quality
  • Audit current products to achieve UI and UX patterns consistency across the targeted product ecosystem (web & mobile app)
  • Track changes request to the product teams to ensure alignment with Design System guidelines
  • Create and continuously update the roadmap of the Design System
  • Report to Product Design management key metrics on the health of the Design System
  • Become an evangelist, advocate, and educator on behalf of Design System, elevating the Design System’s usage within the organisation
  • Participate with peer Product Designers in special projects to generate ideas and design product
  • Analyse trends and assure best practices for design team tools usage
  • Ensure an efficient Design Handoff process between designers and developers
  • Coordinate a small team to support quality assurance in the Product team’s projects and the evolution of the Design System
Qualifications
  • You have at least +5 years of experience in designing digital products for complex web and mobile applications, especially with an in-house team
  • You have worked in Product based organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Expert knowledge of design and prototyping tools (Figma is a must)
  • You have experience in promoting the value of a Design System and already contributed to or even built one
  • You feel comfortable collaborating with developers to improve the Design System based on feedback
  • You feel comfortable assuring the quality of design specifications for web & native mobile applications
  • You have strong facilitation capability and excellent communication skills
  • You have experience improving and promoting the importance of accessibility for digital products
  • You can coach peer designers within the scope of design operations
  • You are fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • Strongly organized, autonomous and details-oriented
  • You can demonstrate an outstanding portfolio including UI and UX design works, especially Design Systems collaboration (from foundation to complex components)
  • You have experience or have an interest in designing financial products
