Your Profile
  • Fundamental know-how in electrochemistry, electrocatalysis and interfaces
  • Experience in research and development on electrochemical cells, ideally with non-aqueous-based electrolytes and good overview on electrochemical characterization methods
  • Good knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Python)
  • Fast comprehension and a high degree of teamwork and initiative
Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities at Sensirion are extremely diverse and exciting. You develop the latest generation of sensor technology in interdisciplinary project teams. If you are interested, you can also develop further to become a project manager. Your future colleague, Pernilla (R&D Engineer), describes her day-to-day work below.

What are the specific tasks?

In my day-to-day work I develop methods and materials for novel sensor solutions. I characterize prototypes in the lab, as well a in use-case conditions. I keep gaining knowledge on how these sensors work and possible causes of failure. Within our project team we discuss results of different workpackages and optimize sensor designs.

What are the daily challenges?

Developing novel sensor technologies constantly holds new challenges. I’s fun to understand complex problems and develop creative solutions.
