The Digital Sense portfolio is a combination of digital measurement solutions ranging from sensors and scales to machine control and packaging - fully integrated across Bühler processes. We focus on increasing productivity, food safety and sustainability. In this position you are mainly responsible for all life cycle activities and application developments. Are you strong in math, multi-tasking, and an innovative problem solver? Then take the chance and join our Sensor-Team.

Tasks
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the products according to market requirements
  • Project management and execution of life cycle projects
  • Maintain and extend the NIR calibration database according to the innovation roadmap
  • Development of new multivariate calibration models
  • Validation of the performance of sensors at customers’ sites as 3rd level support
  • Align and balance work between different Bühler sites and laboratories

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (FH, ETH) or adequate business experience
  • Strong technical background in engineering or data science discipline
  • Good knowledge in data handling and analysis as well as basic skills in programming
  • Experience with online measurement technologies
  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Innovative, solution focused and hands-on personality
