The team develops and maintains its own Cloud-based data-analytics platform (e-DAP). The tool is devoted to industrial process predictions, among other things, enabling operators perform predictive modelling, operation maintenance, incl. process & production optimization, and anomaly detection.

DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT ENGINEER INDUSTRIAL DATA ANALYTICS 100% (f/m/d) - ZÜRICH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in integrating and operating the Cloud-based Platform hosting the e-DAP services.
  • Design industrial data preprocessing tools and algorithms.
  • Design, implement and use advanced data analytics and Machine Learning algorithms for integration into e-DAP.
  • Design and build predictive models for industrial digital twinning using IoT data;
  • Maintain the quality of the backend code.
  • Execute project engineering in Data Science matters and operations (DataOps) in customer projects using the e-DAP services.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Must have: a master’s degree in data science, Applied Mathematics with Major in Data Science, or alternatively in Computer Science with Data Analytics experience
  • Excellent background in machine and deep learning for regression and classification problems, time series forecasting, etc.
  • Very good skills in object-oriented programming (OOP), preferably in Python, using the most popular Machine Learning libraries (TensorFlow/Keras (or PyTorch), numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)
  • Ability to write clean, efficient and well-documented code.
  • Knowledge of code repository workflows.
  • Good to have: Practice with DevOps methodologies and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud Computing (preferably Azure). IoT systems.
