Your field of responsibility


We are looking for DevOps engineer who is willing to explore and improve the development tools and infrastructure of payments products.
DevOps Engineer responsibilities include preparing releases for product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Java and Kafka, we’d like to meet you.
You will be building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software and simplify the development process of software.
You will focus on performance assessment, monitoring and recommending performance enhancements, with this helping to implement a DevOps culture in the team and organization.

Your skills and experience


In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages, we’d like to meet you.

We are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Very open personality, driving things, self-organized, pro-active, reliable, having a strong attitude to "Getting things done"
  • Specialist in tools to automate the CI/CD infrastructure (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Grafana/Prometheus), experience with Git, Artifactory or Nexus, TeamCity or Jenkins, Docker, package managers, expert in automating pipelines and experiences in dependency and release management.
  • Proven track of record using programming languages Java (Sprint Boot) and/or Python, as well as experience with different persistence styles e.g. relational DB (Oracle, Sybase) and non-relational e.g. NoSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop.
  • Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka & Confluent Platform.
  • Proficient in key cloud platforms and container technologies e.g. Kubernetes / Docker / OpenShift.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English, ability to work in an international and distributed located environment.
