Your role

Are you interested in complex systems with many interfaces? Do you enjoy implementing system changes and writing scripts in a LINUX environment? Are you keen to work with various technical agile teams and to install new systems in the Investment Banking Technology? We are looking for a clever person who can help us with:
  • installing new versions of vendor & in-house systems
  • developing enhancements for the existing installations
  • migrating the applications to MS AZURE CLOUD
  • troubleshooting issues and providing L3 support

Your team

You will be working in the Investment Bank Technology Foreign Exchange Operations software delivery team in Opfikon/Zurich. We are an experienced, multi-cultural and international agile team that needs your support to successfully deliver a challenging multi-year roadmap of changes. Your expertise

  • preferably more than 3-5 years of previous experience
  • solid knowhow in Linux, shell scripting languages and SQL is a must have
  • Agile practices, Websphere, Tomcat, Javascript, IBM MQ Series, Oracle & Postgres Database are an advantage
  • an education in information systems (Sek II / ISCED 3 or higher)
  • motivated, self-directed and driven quick learner, curious to learn about system and business
  • fluent in written/spoken English, good understanding of German is a plus
  • able to troubleshoot issues by using both technical and business knowledge, not by following a simple checklist
