You support the operation and development of our services in the emergency call environment. In doing so, you are responsible at all times for ensuring the service is provided to the emergency call organisations.

The topics Together with your colleagues, you develop and operate the emergency routing components for the whole of Switzerland and ensure their high availability. Your software development skills help to continuously improve service operations and implement new (virtual) functionalities. You actively follow the transformation of services (such as network localisation, device-based localisation, routing, interfaces to public-safety answering points (PSAPs) and barrier-free emergency services into the cloud, maintain the backlog for further developments and coordinate software and data suppliers.

Your profile - Degree (College of Further Education/UAS/Uni) in IT, telecommunications or comparable subject - Good knowledge of VoIP and IMS - Cloud knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps technologies (git, Ansible, Jenkins), as well as public and private cloud (OpenStack, AWS) - Knowledge of Fullstack development (Java an advantage) - Experience in Linux engineering and scripting (Bash, Perl or Python) - Enthusiasm for DevOps and agile working methods - Regular deployment outside office hours, including on-call service - Good German and English
