Diagnostic Engineer/Technician (80-100%)

As a Diagnostic Engineer you will provide assistance in testing and verification activities on a range of assignments of the Process Industries Division. Reporting to the Service Execution Team Lead, you will be in charge of executing testing activities for low-and medium-complexity systems, subsystems or products, according to schedule and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparing project test documentation and providing technical assistance during installation of test objects
  • Performing all kind of electrical tests at windings, core tests with low induction, core tests with high induction visual inspections (winding) including analyzing and defining further actions.
  • Performing and attending of special acceptance tests/ life endurance tests/ thermal cycling tests
  • Troubleshooting after winding damages
  • Analyzing the test results, life time assessment for VPI windings
  • Customer training for PD online measurement
  • Regular review of existing Diagnostic related test instructions, test certificates and update if necessary
  • Implementation of new electrical test to create more added customer value, including required test instructions and test certificates
  • Contribute to the development and sourcing of new tools/processes to improve safety, quality and speed of site work

Your background

  • Min. 2 years of experience with related service activities
  • Sound knowledge of electrical tests at windings including analysis and definition of further actions
  • A degree/background in Engineering
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 80-100%
