SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

As DigitalICDesign Engineer,you will bea key player in the ASIC R&D team.You are presented with a unique opportunity to be part of the complete digital ASIC design flow, from specification and modelling, implementation and verification, to synthesis and silicon bring-up.Further, you will play an important role in supporting complex failure analyses to ensure smooth ramp-ups and high-volume production.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Specification,implementationand verificationof DSP algorithms, interface and protocolsfor audio processingon ASIC and FPGA
  • Implementationand verificationof digital control logic to support MEMS microphones
  • Designvalidation and performance testing
  • Specification and documentation of blocks and systems

POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in electronics engineering
  • Digital Signal Processing algorithms and implementation (Filters, Decimators, MATLAB, SystemC, etc.)
  • RTL implementation, preferablyusing VerilogorSystem Verilog
  • Implementation of test benches and digital verification methods
  • Programming/scriptinglanguages (e.g.,Python, C/C++, or Perl)
  • Task centered, self-driven, persistent, and team oriented

It is furthermore an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Audio signal processing (Beam forming, Echo Cancellers, Adaptive Filters, etc.)
  • Algorithms for energy management, speech and audio processing, including noise cancellation, acousticecho cancellation, signal enhancement, and microphone and speaker arrays
  • FPGA prototyping
  • Low-power digital design techniques
  • RTL implementation of digital interface protocols (e.g., I2S, I2C, MIPI)
  • UVM verification methodology
  • DesignforTestability(DFT)
  • Digital synthesis (Cadence Genus,SDCtimingconstraints,etc.)
  • Buildautomation tools (Make, Scons, etc.)
  • Acoustic and Electromechanical systems
  • Audio Precision APx audio analyzer platform
