COTY is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join COTY’s Travel Retail Global Merchandising team. As the Digital Instore Experience Manager GTR (cross category/brands), you will work closely with brand teams (Gucci, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, etc.) from one of the largest Beauty portfolio in the world, and more importantly, retailers operating in all the airports globally. You will report directly to the Merchandising Director Global Travel Retail, based also in Geneva.
In this critical role, you will contribute to shape the in-store vision for Travel Retail and accelerate the digital transformation at point of sale, to significantly grow sales and market shares versus any Beauty competitor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Increase the conversion and the growth of COTY’s Portfolio of brands in our channel, globally, by developing or influencing Brand and Cross Brand teams to provide Travel Retail fit for use digital retail solutions. This role is critical in delivering superior visibility, customer engagement and cutting-edge innovations / retailtainment, enabling our organization to win with permanent spaces and temporary animations negotiations, keeping the consumer at the heart of everything we do.
  • Enable regional marketing and sales teams, assist them to pursue our retail digital transformation as per our objectives and brand standards. This role is pivotal in being truly responsive to the field and retailers’ needs as well as a proactive innovation driving force with the different teams.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the tools implemented (data management), lead exchanges of “best practices” within the Travel Retail community, measure impact of our initiatives and determine adjustments.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising Director Global Travel Retail and Brand teams to deliver merchandising permanent/temporary toolboxes for some specific brands, manage doors and designs approvals, participate in the growth of COTY’s Portfolio and gain market share.
  • Follow trends, forums and competition, educate and inform the Travel Retail community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Overall – must have clear demonstration of expertise & successes of driving innovative and disruptive digital retail in store activations.

3+ years as an in store digital retail manager in Luxury/FMCG, preferably with a Travel Retail experience.
Proven experience in developing or implementing trackable digital retail solutions in store. Capabilities in leading “test and learn” approach, IT literacy and data management.
3+ years of successfully managing / working with external partners (suppliers, agencies, retailers).
Highly motivated self-starter, capable of working & collaborating in a team environment.
Expert in project management, leaving no space for doubt and delay and keeping track & history of each tiny step of any project.
Ability to lead and guide in a highly matrix organization.
Relentless motivation to get to the desired results with strong soft skills to influence stakeholders.
Creative mind with a can-do attitude, to pilot projects that have never been seen in-store.
Experience of working across multiple markets and cultures.
Ability to perform in fast-paced environment prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
Sound business judgment to deliver tools and innovations that make sense financially.
English proficiency & IT literacy (MS Office and Photoshop).
