Thinking about a career in Marketing? Global Marketing as part of the Commercial function has an exciting opportunity in which you help Dow’s Businesses to accelerate their digital Marketing processes around demand generation, marketing automation and insights generation by utilizing data.

As Digital M arket ing Acceleration Manager , you will be part of a great team working with colleagues from the Digital Centre of Expertise consulting the Business Marketing departments for best-practice identification and implementation. You will also link to the broader IT organization for scouting new digital capabilities to support Dow’s growth initiative in the most easy, enjoyable and effective way.

As a Digital Marketing Acceleration Manager, you will partner with the Businesses to accelerate growth in selected areas by designing, transforming, and implementing digital marketing capabilities:
  • Together with a team of various Marketing Specialist, you will
    • Improve the processes of demand generation around the pillars of contact management, campaign management and lead management to allow for flawless lead follow-through and better targeting by more refined lead profiling.
    • Consult on Market Listening capabilities and work on a regional implementation set-up together with the different Commercial Discipline organizations and the Service Center.
    • Coordinate Dow’s eMarketplace activities (own and 3rd party e-commerce platforms) across the Businesses globally for best practice leverage.
  • You will become the dedicated Global Marketing focal point for digital acceleration to one or more Businesses and channel partners, sit on the design table with them to define, pilot, implement, scale and track progress on the digital acceleration initiatives in Marketing.
  • You will partner with the Digital Experience Center of Expertise (CoE) within the broader Commercial function to co-create and ensure fit of digital marketing acceleration and insights generation initiatives (demand generation, market listening, eMarketplaces) with focus on buying experience, inspiration experience and dow.com strategy.
  • Together with Business and CoE partners, you will be in charge of developing a blueprint for future capabilities and lift digital marketing acceleration efforts into opportunities for new business model innovations.
  • You will be responsible for improving data quality and visibility and turning those into insights
    • To drive personalized content for better CX, gain competitive advantage and target optimal return in investment (ROI) across the digital acceleration channels.
    • To utilize and constantly improve Dow’s market listening technology for best adoption across the Businesses and Functions.
    • To effectively consult our Businesses on channel management driving maximized ROI.
KeyResponsibilities
  • Drive digital acceleration with marketing technology discipline and best practices into the marketing organization and enable business growth.
  • Become dedicated business partner to build demand generation, help to engage customers, and to generate insights from data.
  • Have comprehensive understanding of business operations, digital capabilities and cross functional processes that are key to impact CX.
  • Contribute to rapid and high-impact targeted execution on virtually all marketing actions throughout the value chain with the help of marketing automation and channel optimization.
  • Increase customer audience understanding across the buyer journey, enable visibility of market and customer insights by improving contact and lead data health.
  • Manage visibility on the return of our marketing investments that drive the opportunity and innovation pipeline.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business Marketing, Channel Partners, Digital Experience Center of Expertise (CoE), Business Communications, Commercial Discipline Teams and Service Center to drive implementation activities.

  • Strong consulting, training, and facilitation skills; translation of complex information into structured content which becomes a resource for digital acceleration best practices.
  • Ability to set up and use dashboards and reports needed to connect data to tell a consistent story that can help all stakeholders involved better inform their plans; you will help build a set of metrics and data to drive digital enabled decision making.
  • Solid understanding of change management; be resilient; and energized by frequent change; experience leading change initiatives is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with people leadership, both direct and indirect influencing, coaching and consensus building.
Required Qualifications
  • Master Degree, preferably in a digital marketing, a marketing & sales, or a general business field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience in industry, B2B environment and/ or in similar role.
  • Fluent in English and speaking another language is a plus.
