Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Technology is recruiting for a Director, Business Technology Lead for End-to-End Finance Technology Solutions located in New Jersey, Switzerland, or other global J&J head office.

Consumer Health is defining the future state Finance organization and technical ecosystem to support digital capabilities as the business spins off as a stand-alone company. Through programs such as Diamond, Digital Platform Transformation, and J&J’s Enterprise Corporate Central Finance program, the ecosystem that delivers digital capabilities for the Finance function is evolving to enable separation while iteratively delivering a stable and optimal future state.

The Director, Finance Ecosystem Owner will actively shape and transform the Finance digital ecosystem to unlock value and automation for the business. This position requires strong Consumer Health Finance knowledge and a clear understanding of the capabilities needed across Finance and Controlling (namely in the ERP) as well as broader Finance systems supporting Tax, Consolidations & Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Payroll, Procurement, Expense Reporting, as well as Finance data and analytics. This role includes people management responsibilities to ensure connections to all key major programs are clear and robust, with interdependencies and critical activities aligned.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic plans that enable a digital Finance function in Consumer Health
  • Responsible for the success of the Finance ecosystem
  • Shape and connect Diamond legal entity separation, ERP transformation, and target-state Finance products (Consolidations & Reporting, Treasury, Payroll, etc) to enable streamlined Finance capabilities
  • Leverage SigniFi design to connect Finance into supply chain & commercial and drive a unified design with strong architecture alignment to the broader Consumer Health ecosystem
  • Drive standardization, alignment, and adoption across Finance and connect Commercial, Supply Chain, and enterprise Finance components
  • Provides direction to produce development team(s) that develop and deploy solutions
  • Ensure seamless connectivity between ERP and Finance solutions through things like aligned data models and using fit-for-purpose tools to deliver digital capabilities
  • Ensure end-to-end coverage of all key Finance processes
  • Partner with business Finance teams across Diamond, Digital Platform Transformation, and business functions to recommend solutions that will support process automation and alignment
  • Create an inclusive and positive work environment/culture where diverse talent can grow and succeed
  • Effectively communicate vision and strategy to peers, partners, stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Encourage creative solutions with the strength of past knowledge and experiences acquired

Qualifications
  • 12+ years’ experience in SAP ERP, Finance processes, and tools that digitalize the Finance function
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent through experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong business and technical acumen
  • SAP and Finance Process Expertise is required
  • Versatility and agility to work in a fast-changing environment with enthusiasm
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities across multiple teams and functions, globally
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates both strong vision, strategy, and big picture capabilities in problem solving approaches
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics and the capabilities that can support operational and KPI-related activities is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to inspire and lead others
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Innate curiosity, data driven, and ability to self-start w/ growth mindset and thought leadership
  • Process, data and configuration knowledge of core Finance systems, including strong understanding of the underlying technical architecture.
  • Experience in people management, coaching, and aiding professional growth
  • Experience in Supply Chain processes and understanding of unique challenges and needs in this space
  • Required working knowledge in the management of GxP and SOX validated systems
  • Ability to effectively lead and govern cross-functional decision-making bodies.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions, virtual platforms, and the future roadmap for Finance digital needs is required
  • Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and anticipate/identify complex problems.
  • Ability to experiment and not be afraid to take risks
  • Have a real passion for learning, attention to detail and dedication to excellence
