Job Description

The Contract Management and Commercial Operations Director is responsible for managing the contractual relationships with Catalent Cham customers and for finalizing the Quotation process for existing customers and new opportunities for Catalent Cham.

You will work with senior management, Commercial Operations Teams located at the EU sites, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Business Development.

The Role
  • Act as the key account manager for Catalent Cham customers (existing and new) and ensure a superior level of communication occurs between Catalent Cham, the Customers and the EU Sites.
  • Cooperate with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain to prepare MSAs for targeted customers.
  • In coordination with the Commercial Operations Teams at the sites, leads on Catalent Cham existing contract extensions.
  • Serve as member of the negotiation team for new contracts, when led by BD. When led by the Commercial Operations organization, serve as lead negotiator making sure that the process is efficient and accurately reported within the Catalent organization.
  • Appropriately file and track commercial supply agreements, scope changes, addendums, to ensure capture of relevant provisions (e.g., fees, price increases, KPIs, forecasts, PO, renewals) and the fulfilment of the legal obligations.
  • Receive the technical quotations from the sites, prepare pricing proposals for BU discussion and approval. Monitor the proposal dashboard.
  • Support administrative aspects such as customer number set-up, review of SOWs for appropriate contractual references, and provide link to Catalent global contracting systems
  • Drive compliance with Legal, organizational and departmental policies and procedures with adherence to processes and business rules.
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree and Master degree in Science (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering) or Economics
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, pharmaceutical CDMO, CRO
  • Relevant industry knowledge of drug product, drug substance manufacturing, quality, regulatory
  • Experienced contract negotiator, Analytical, financial skills
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Organized and detail orientated with ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Customer service skills and professional demeanour
  • Fluent in English. French and/or Italian is a plus
