Your assignment
  • Own group-wide energy strategy and execute total cost improvement projects
  • Develop and implement the organizational and business model for energy
  • Link energy procurement performance with business needs and requirements from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery
  • Establish the right relationships with vendors and negotiate various energy supply agreements
  • Identify, create, improve, and share of best practices
  • Manage procurement staff in a matrix organization and build cross-functional teams to develop the energy strategy
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable qualification; project management certification is a plus.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in energy procurement, energy consulting or trading, preferably in an international environment, in procurement and strategic sourcing. Excellent knowledge of the energy market, procurement, and hedging. Good knowledge of Lean and/or 6Sigma principles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and change management skills. Efficient, proactive and creative working methodology. Analytically strong and able to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-driven, diligent, solution oriented and highly resilient when facing hurdles.
  • Strong communicator with a convincing personality, team orientation, stakeholder management competence and intercultural experience.
  • High willingness to travel.
