The DBSO Director is responsible for the development and deployment of Digital solutions to accelerate and sustain growth, meet Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator targets. The candidate will partner with DBSO Directors and OpCos to bring emerging digital capabilities such as Process, Task Mining and RPA to existing DBS tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Technical expert in delivering exceptional results through facilitation and adoption of digital tools in areas of lean and growth
  • Partner with OpCos, DBSLs, and DBSO Directors to analyze, identify, and streamline business processes by applying Digital Transformation methodologies such as Process Mining, Task Mining, Business Process Management
  • Work with Digital DBS Lead to scope, plan, schedule, and manage project timelines and activities from project kick-off through handoff
  • Work with team leaders to understand type/source of data needed to analyze their process area
  • Support IT on initial installation and use of process mining tools, such as Celonis
  • Work with Digital DBS Lead, Kaizen Team Leaders, and OpCo IT to perform and validate data imports
  • Support Kaizen solutioneering with a view to impact business KPIs
  • Training of other business and IT staff on data science principals and techniques
  • Use statistical analysis and visualization techniques to support problem solving (example Hierarchical clustering, t-distribution, stochastic neighbor embedding, principal component analysis)
  • Identify, test, and implement AI or ML business improvements in collaboration with data analyst
  • Connect and create new processes / data models
  • Promote the use and improvement of select Digital tools, and build a network of global CPs and ACPs to support Danaher and OpCO needs
Education and/or Experience:
  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or related fields
  • 10+ years experience writing SQL / ML / PL-SQL code / Python / ETL, can include up to 2 years of graduate level work
  • 5+ years of process improvement / technology consulting / professional services / large scale software implementations
  • 3+ years experience using Process Mining Tools (I.e. Celonis, UIPath, etc)
  • Deep understanding and experience of data architecture on ERP / Salesforce databases
  • Mastery of DBS Fundamentals (or TPS)
  • Technical skills necessary to resolve a broad array of business issues
  • Experience partnering with IT projects
  • Experience supporting Kaizen team(s) with associates from multiple disciplines
  • Preferred: Familiar with driving change in regulated environments (e.g., FDA)

50%-70% travel is required
