director, Global Consumer Health Smart operations

The Director of Smart Operations will play a key role in improving our Physical Supply FLOW through digitally enabled agility to ensure Consistent Reliability and Profitably respond to Customer needs. This role is a key position in our Consumer SC organization with responsibility for creating a re-imagined customer experience and improving the speed, cost, and transparency of the supply chain through the application of innovative technologies. Key focus is to enable flow by improving reliability through identification and elimination of constraints. In addition, amplify value with advanced digital capabilities & cross integration of nodes with tools like JJOS.

This position will be based out of Europe and report directly to the Global Smart Operations Leader.

Global Supply Leadership Team, Regional and lobal Functional leads for Source, Plan, Make, Deliver, R&D, IT, Quality

The Responsibilities & The Impact YOU Will Have
  • Anchor the end-to-end orchestration of digitally enabled value chain to enhance & accelerate flow with consistent reliability and agility to profitably respond to customer needs.
  • Play a role in supporting the development of thought leadership addressing the latest in supply chain innovation and digital supply chain.
  • Develop and implement smart solutions across value chain nodes and help in building capabilities and process to support our regions.
  • Develop and implement strategies and operational improvement projects within their own organization, as well as within their extended supply chain network with suppliers and channel partners.
  • Participate in external networking and industry expertise forums to adopt best practices and bring ideas that shapes the Consumer SC Digital landscape.
  • Accountable for project delivery and identification of used cases.
  • Lead the Smart Operations team to orchestrate the Ideation process and foster solutions pipeline; develop a roadmap that helps delivering the Consumer SC strategic priorities.
  • Drive execution of 3year operating plan/ Business planning process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in Engineering or Operations management. MBA can be an added benefit
  • 10 Years+ of cross functional Supply Chain experience with good hands-on experience in plan/ make operational role, Strategy development and deployment, Digital Supply Chain, SC transformation projects, Program Management
  • Rounded experience of supply chain is critical to perform this role and having 1-2 cross functional experiences specifically in Make or Source, transformational projects will be added advantage
