Proclinical are recruiting a Director / Snr Manager Project Management Office for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Lausanne. The client is focused on developing products for various illnesses and therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities
  • Handle R&D cost across the portfolio.
  • Partake or co-lead development, execution and consistent improvement of other ground-breaking R&D project management systems and tools.
  • Enable effectual and capable implementation of periodic R&D project cost reporting.
  • Guide the development, execution and consistent improvement of R&D cost reporting procedures, systems and tools, in concurrence with project managers in PLM and with controlling.
  • You will co-create and drive some of the portfolio management procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills And Requirements
  • Educated to an advanced degree level in a business, management and/or science discipline.
  • A project management degree would be beneficial.
  • A background in finance within a biopharma R&D, ideally in biosimilars.
  • Past involvement in/expertise on portfolio management would be advantageous to the role.
  • An organised individual with the ability to resolve issues.
  • An entrepreneurship mindset with the ability to make decisions.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced project management experience/skills.
  • Fluency in the English language with knowledge in additional languages such as German or French would be ideal.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a similar role in a biopharma organisation, ideally in biosimilars.
  • Expertise on financial controlling within a biopharma R&D establishment, ideally within biosimilars.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management subjects within a pharma R&D pipeline context.
  • Exhibited ability in working within a project-driven international matrix organisation with the full breadth of all functions partaking in drug development.
