Position Summary

The Director, Strategic Collaboration Management is responsible for developing and implementing key Quality strategies to enable the realization of business objectives critical to the global external strategic collaboration relationship. The role is responsible to ensure that fit-for-purpose Quality processes are established and maintained to support base business, new product introduction, product transfers/network optimization, and cost improvement programs within the collaboration. Is responsible to mature ways of working with Quality Agreement optimization, retain/convey algorithm advancement, and the oversight/partner management strategy. The role will be the primary Supply Chain Quality representative in making decisions associated with events, activities, and issues arising within the collaboration and provide input via their presence in associated governance forums. Will assess the scope/breadth of work required and ensure that appropriate resources are in place to deliver collaboration objectives. The Director, Strategic Collaboration Management will be a key contributor to the development of the strategic plan and accompanying financial plan required to realize mid/long term Quality and business goals. Will partner as needed with adjacent functions within and outside of Quality to advance the business, remove barriers, and realize collaboration goals. Will play a key role in providing visibility of collaboration Quality performance to executive leadership including the actions being taken to continuously improve.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Developing and implementing key Quality strategies to enable the realization of business objectives critical to the global external strategic collaboration relationship. Ensuring that fit-for-purpose Quality processes are established and maintained to support base business, new product introduction, product transfers/network optimization, and cost improvement programs within the collaboration and the needs of future-state capabilities and business opportunities. Requires influencing both internally across all business levels with MD and enterprise Quality & Supply Chain, as well as influencing external partners and collaborators.

Represents Supply Chain Quality in making decisions associated with events, activities, and issues arising within the collaboration and provides input via their presence in associated governance forums.

Partners with adjacent functions within and outside of Quality to advance the business, remove barriers, and realize collaboration goals.

Assesses the scope/breadth of work required and ensures that appropriate resources are in place to deliver collaboration objectives

Provides visibility of collaboration Quality performance to executive leadership including the actions being taken to continuously improve.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree

Required Years of Related Experience: 8-10 years’ experience

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Quality & Compliance management in the healthcare field

External manufacturer & supplier management

Influencing effectively across internal and external collaborators

Travel On The Job

20-30%

People Management Experience: 3-5 years’ experience
