The Campus Switzerland Office aims to inspire and care for J&J employees and communities, and to strengthen the reputation of J&J throughout Switzerland. We foster collaboration across divisions and functions and acts as customer focused, strategic value creators and integrators for Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies Switzerland. Within our team, we lead the strategy and execution of Community Impact, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning & Development and Sustainability initiatives for J&J in Switzerland.

We are looking for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Specialist who is passionate about the topic of DEI and to help advance our culture of inclusion.

Reporting to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead for Switzerland, the DEI Specialist will be a key contributor to the DEI strategy, independently leading projects and programs in this area and collaborating with different teams. They will be responsible for leading the DEI Networks in Switzerland, focusing on the Swiss-wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). The DEI Specialist will be involved in all aspects of the strategic planning, development, and implementation of effective, coordinated, and measurable tactics and initiatives.

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented professional who can take own initiatives and develop and lead projects independently. Excellent networking skills and the ability to engage and form relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization will be key.

This is a permanent role with a 80% -100% workload.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of the local DEI strategy in Switzerland while taking into account the overall EMEA strategy.
  • Connect our global priorities with country action plans, as well as being the primary connection point for the ERGs in Switzerland.
  • Work closely with Switzerland ERG Leads to ensure alignment with overall DEI strategy and help increase their reach with our employees across Switzerland.
  • Work on a comprehensive communications and engagement plan that helps our employees understand our DEI journey.
  • Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders and program partners.
  • Identify external organizations and networks of relevance for potential collaboration.
  • Develop content for DEI Intranet, website, presentations, social media and traditional media.
  • Coordinate the DEI Country Council calls and help put together the agenda for the meeting.
  • Establish relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Communication & Public Affairs; Government Affairs & Policy and Community Impact across multiple sites
  • Responsible for supporting, guiding and coaching one apprentice.
  • Coordinate registrations for events and trainings and manage the purchase orders for the team.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Marketing, Communication and role
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, HR, Corporate Social Responsibility, or other relevant field
  • Good understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion topic and experience in developing and implementing DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Able to align, motivate and inspire key stakeholders at all levels within and outside of the organization and to interact with multidisciplinary teams to achieve overarching objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, influence teams, and build relationships to meet organizational objectives, without direct/formal authority.
  • Experience in prioritizing and effectively leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically and to analyze, interpret and assess information
  • Demonstrates resilience and agility to drive and adapt to change while supporting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and influence them
  • Well-organized and thorough with close attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong language and communication skills: fluent in English (written and verbal required), good command in German desired
