Are you a highly motivated, results-driven, analytical-thinking person and a great team player? Then you will be the perfect fit for the position of the Division Controller! In this role, you will be responsible for the Division Financials. Furthermore, you will drive IFRS closings for assigned divisions.

Division Controller (f/m)

What you will do
  • Independent preparation of deliverables (e.g. monthly management report, forecasts, budget, cash report, other management presentations)
  • Taking on an active role in, or initiating projects to support Axpo’s strategy (e.g cash flow forecasting, new product launches, structuring complex transactions, etc.)
  • Bringing along an innovative mindset, technology affinity, and expertise, especially in HFM, SAP Power BI, Excel/VBA, or SQL
  • Demonstrating the ability to understand Axpo’s business, supporting the Divisional Management with the decision making process, challenging the status quo and providing recommendations
  • Cooperating with other financial departments (e.g. Treasury, Tax, Accounting) to give or receive inputs
  • Supporting other functions on an ad hoc basis (HR, Mid Office, IT) and presenting complex financial concepts in a clear manner
What you bring & who you are
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting
  • Good knowledge in IFRS (especially IFRS 9), a good understanding of derivatives, experience in budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes
  • Good skills in MS-Office (esp. Excel), SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, VBA, Power BI, and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills, innovative thinking, and a positive attitude towards change
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus

Our Division Controlling Team consists of 8 employees. Axpo Trading and Sales is in strong growth and needs new innovative ideas and entrepreneurial thinking.
