For our client, a established commodity trading company in Baar, Zug, we presently are recruiting the

Documentary Credits / Trade Finance Specialist
with experience in the handling of export and import letters of credit, open account receivables financing and preferably a solid know-how in bank guarantees.

The position encompasses the following tasks

  • Processing and analysing all matters related to letters of credit, receivables financing, and bank guarantees
  • Allocating letters of credit (export and import) and receivables financing business to a large variety of relationship banks
  • Workability checking of letters of credit and bank guarantee wordings in the context of the underlying commercial contract
  • Pre-checking of documents which are to be presented under export letters of credit
  • Providing support and advisory services to the commodity trading departments in LC, SBLC bank guarantee and receivables financing matters

Candidates who would excel in our environment:

  • Profound knowledge of the mentioned areas
  • Several years of work experience preferably obtained in the banking and/or trading company sector(s)
  • Proficient level of both verbal and written English (other languages are desirable but not essential)
