Siemens Smart Infrastructure has its global headquarters in Zug, Switzerland.Your challengesAs E-commerce business development manager, you have the overall responsibility to increase the business via e-commerce platforms of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. With your long and successful experience in B2B digital selling, you will drive the innovations of the customer’s digital buying journey for all types of business (products, solution, SW, SaaS & services)
  • You develop a vision and drive the Siemens Smart Infrastructure e-commerce strategy
  • In doing so, you work with all stakeholders (Business Units, Sales Regions, IT) to shape our e-commerce platform landscape and define the right processes and tools, especially for our “as a Service” business
  • Working out initiatives to enable and grow our regional sales organizations is part of your purview
  • Your tasks also comprise defining strategy to optimally position Siemens Smart Infrastructure at our partner digital marketplaces
  • You establish plans and secure the implementation of the defined strategy
  • You develop the necessary measurement instruments of the success of your initiatives and ensure the coordination with our different Business Units to build a coherent and attractive e-commerce landscape
  • Representing Siemens Smart Infrastructure towards Siemens corporate level and the other Siemens Businesses is in your responsibility
Your profile
  • You have a master’s degree in business informatics or similar. An MBA is a plus
  • In addition, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in Digital Sales and the management of E-Commerce landscape
  • You are an expert on B2B online selling processes and platforms
  • Furthermore, you have a well-developed ability to independently create and effectively deliver presentations, C-Level meetings and derive opportunities in a structured manner
  • Also, you are highly empathic and communicative with a strong personality, are passionate, analytical, process-driven, and used to multitasking
  • You are ambitious, willing to take over responsibility, and drive projects independently with manager support
  • Fluent English skills in writing, reading, and conversation round up your profile
  • This role requires mostly in-house, virtual communication but you’re up to some travel to internal or customer meetings now and then
