About the Role:

Are you an expert at capturing value via ecosystem approach? Does finding both technical and business solutions come naturally to you? You will be working in a highly customer-facing role, developing IT/IoT ecosystem partnerships that provide increasing value for our customers either via enhanced service capabilities or joint go-to-market. As the Global Ecosystem Manager for Digital Buildings, you will work in a consultative fashion and take over an expert role for the account team, our customers and internal Siemens teams!

The role

  • Design and implement a global partner ecosystem framework including but not limited to IT system integration partners, technology partners and go-to-market partners to grow market share of our latest software offerings.
  • Drive the business development and sales performance across the partner ecosystem
  • Identify and contact potential new ecosystem partners, delivering a convincing storyline on our ecosystem value.
  • Design and oversee the onboarding of new ecosystem partners and maintain relationships ensuring their excellent customer experience.
  • Lead negotiations with ecosystem partners about commercial and operational cooperation according to framework (e.g. responsibilities, business models, marketing, lifecycle support).
  • Define and monitor relevant KPI’s to ensure partner ecosystem success.
  • Collaborate with other units, segments and regions to identify, prioritize and engage with potential partners to ensure they fit into our overall strategy.
  • Become a thought leader: evangelize internally and externally to ensure visibility of ecosystem value in smart buildings.

What You Bring Along

Knowledge and experience:

  • You offer concrete SaaS sales experience and ecosystem management capabilities derived from a SaaS or Enterprise IT/IoT environment. Any experience Customer Success Management in SaaS or IoT context is highly welcome
  • Your ability in identifying and developing customer value is outstanding – translating functionality into C-level value propositions and positive business outcomes for our customers
  • You master the fundamentals of digitalization, IoT & cloud, including basics of cyber security and data protection

Soft skills:

  • We look for a driven individual, that wants to be successful and to overachieve, this comes together with a high level of dedication and resilience
  • You have a strategic mindset for driving growth, however, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to achieve desired outcomes
  • As an expert in identifying and developing customer value and positive business outcomes for our customers, you understand complicated technical dependencies and how to translate technical details into a C-level value proposition
  • As a networker, your ability in bringing people together around a vision is instrumental to establish a worldwide community. You are strong at communicating across all levels of an organization to both technical and executive audiences
  • Any affinity and interest in public speaking at conferences is highly welcome
