Summary

The Trade Finance Analyst will cover a maternity leave from mid-October to mid-April and be based in Geneva, working in the Treasury department.

Main Responsibilities

Along with the below listed responsibilities, the employee should conduct any other business related to the function as required by her or his supervisor.

The Trade Finance Analyst will be assisting the Trade Finance Manager and the Trade Finance Specialist with the following duties:

Vanilla Bank Products: address needs from platforms (Business Units) and find Banking capacity at best financial conditions for the following products:

  • LC / SBLCs / Bank Guarantees / Bid-Perf Bonds, Import and Export;
  • Export Avalized Draft discounting;
  • Global quarterly reporting of export vanilla trades (by region, platform and bank).

The candidate, depending on his/her profile may also be involved from time to time in other activities like:

  • Structured Bank/Insurance Products (third party prepayments/ receivable discounting / credit or performance insurance coverage / etc);
  • Special Countries Financing transactions: address financial needs from platforms (cash services/ FX hedges/financing) in strict compliance with Internal rules (Compliance/ Risk department) and choose the appropriate Banking partners.

Experiences

2 years in a similar role, or in a banking environment

  • Personal traits to include leadership, team player, deadline orientated, innovative, hardworking, enthusiastic and determined.

Required Languages

  • English (Fluent)

Required Education

University degree in Finance/economics or similar or Business School
