Energetic, English-speaking Nanny – 1 day per week – Zollikon

Lampentasche is a specialized nanny agency in Switzerland. For a dynamic family with two children born in 2015 and 2017 we are looking for an active nanny who fulfils her work with passion. The start is planned for August/September 2022 and the place of work is in the beautiful lake community of Zollikon. A lovely dog completes the family life.

Tasks

• Taking care of the two daughters one day per week, since the timetable is not yet known for the next school year, the day can still vary at the moment
• In regards to the timing there are two options regardless of the day: Care of the children between 11 am – 06 pm (1.) OR 08 am – 06 pm (2.)
• 1.The day would start with picking up the older daughter from school, having lunch together, spending the afternoon together with fun activities, picking up the little sister from day-care and preparing dinner
• 2.The younger daughter would be at home and the activities in the morning would be adjusted according to her age, afternoon then with both children as described in 1.
• Arranging the day adapted to the needs of the children with appropriate activities indoors and outdoors (playground visits, painting, singing and handcrafts)
• Excursions are absolutely okay for the family (zoo, animal farms, museums, tram rides, visiting the airport, etc.
• Preparation of meals included in the day
• Short handover with feedback to the parents in the end of the working day
  

Requirements

• Highly reliable, responsible and communicative person, distinguished by punctuality and positive mind-set
• Bundle of energy with an uncomplicated/easy-going character
• Several years of experience in working with children, be it in a day-care environment or as a nanny for families with children in the same age group
• It is important for parents that both parties (nanny & children) enjoy the time together
• Dog lover, even if the only task would be to let the dog out into the garden
• The train station is close by however a driving license would be a big plus for the pick-up services from school
• English at mother tongue level
