Your ’day to day’

As an Engineer - In-Device Quality Monitoring you will develop the portfolio of multi-dimensional and multi-layered reports, enabling recurring, ad-hoc and investigational analysis pertaining to PMI ecosystems product quality performance. You will also ensure scalability and customer-centricity of reports & dashboards. The scope includes either RRP devices, RRP consumables, Combustibles or a combination thereof; the area of focus spans from product component tier suppliers until product end of life.

More specifically, you will
  • Own the portfolio of reports & dashboards pertaining to the specifically assigned scope
  • Develop, automate, maintain and continuously improve multi-layered, multi-source quality performance monitoring reports and dashboards, all geared towards enabling high financial and/or consumer satisfaction value, through analysis supporting the decision-making process of various partners (beyond own Global Function)
  • Develop, build and maintain the knowledge of each data layer used to ensure consistency and cohesion within the data
  • Support data acquisition, blending, cleaning and consolidation from various data sources
  • Drive Monitoring activities pertaining to product performances (exploratory analysis), detect and share insights, as well as conduct data driven investigations
Who we’re looking for
  • University/Engineering degree or equivalent in Information Technology
  • Meaningful experience in Business Intelligence (analysis, reporting, monitoring). Experience in the area of product quality and business performances management a strong plus. Tobacco Industry knowledge a plus.
  • Strong data analysis skills with a problem solving mindset, and a demonstrated ability to understand sophisticated datasets
  • Data preparation skills (SQL coding a strong plus)
  • Expert in data visualization and front-end reporting tools (PowerBI and Tableau a must)
  • Ability to communicate and describe sophisticated technical information in understandable terms, interacting with various partners, including non-technical people
  • Collaborative team member able to balance priorities, time limits and stress, capable to deal with ambiguity in full autonomy.
  • Creative mindset, always looking for solutions and opportunities, ready to take a challenge
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in English, French is an asset
Additional technical knowledge of the following are a PLUS
  • Knowledge of Database & Data Management principles
  • Programming skills and knowledge of statistics
