As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.

Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Your responsibilities

The Engineering Management Controller Is Responsible For

►Management and control of the Engineering Budget

►Support the technical areas to organize the activities related to the offload of Engineering services

►Support the technical areas for investment projects

►Management of the Engineering Master planning

►Management of the Engineering KPI

Tasks

The Engineering Management Controller:

►Defines, with Technical Areas, requests of External Assignments and collect them, verifying coherence with Budget and arranging the documentation for authorization process

►Creates the purchase requisition for all Engineering services and investment projects, follow-up on Purchase order creation and ensure the service receipt

►Maintains An Overview Of All Engineering

■off-load activities to give visibility to HR and procurement

■off-load activities to LHD and give visibility to LHD governance

■NRC and CAPEX with the support of the team members and procurement to consolidate the forecast and ensures a good budget control

►Extracts and analyses the actuals of all Engineering budget

►Prepares monthly financial report of the Engineering department on Engineering hours, NRC, CAPEX

►Develops and maintains the tools and processes related to Engineering budget management

►Supports the yearly budget process

Your Qualifications

►Bachelor degree in Engineering

►Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience including budget controlling

►Analytic skills and is detail-oriented

►Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision

►Good business acumen

►Experience on SAP an asset

►English – verbal and written, minimum B2 level
