Weather can have a huge impact on all of our lives, both personally and professionally, so this is why, here at Meteomatics, we focus on processing and providing the most accurate weather data, and weather intelligence tools to improve our clients’ business across the world for all kind of industries.But why stop there? Better weather forecasting needs even more accurate data sources. Thus, we developed our own weather drones, called Meteodrones, to collect missing data from the lower atmosphere and we are the first company to fly a network of weather drones operationallyNow, let`s talk about you…Your Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the secure and fail-safe operation and the further development of the IT infrastructure and IT processes
  • You carry out analyses, evaluate existing IT processes and, if necessary, derive measures for process optimization
  • You control architecture decisions together with the team
  • Creation and implementation of backup & recovery strategies as well as high availability & cluster to ensure recovery time & recovery point objectives
  • Creation of transparent operational and management reporting
  • Resource, capacity and license management
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with indepth IT knowledge
  • Several years of professional and managerial experience in a comparable position
  • ITIL knowledge and ideally experience in using Jira
  • Interest in modern IT and communication technology and willingness to continue your education
  • Business fluent English, hands-on mentality and strong team player
