Job Description:

Role:
Carry out transversal projects as new equipment / equipment upgrade with/without rooms layout modification in due time, in line with defined quality standards and in accordance with defined budget.

Main responsibilities:

  • During project preparation: prepare initial project scope, budget, resource needs, economic evaluation and timeline definitions. Ensure that projects meet business as well as quality requirements
  • Select and lead external support to be involved in the project (Engineering companies, suppliers, builders, consultants, etc.)
  • Design, transfer and implement new equipment / updated equipment related to all operational activities in accordance to user and cGMPs requirements
  • Design and implement layout modification
  • Ensure within the St-Prex Operations multi-functional team, that production processes and process projects comply with all appropriate technical design, safety and cGMPs guidelines
  • Manage change, commissioning (FAT, SAT), installation, qualification, operational requirements as well as time and cost requirements
  • Always think LEAN improvement and propose adequate modification to existing equipment, implement changes if approved
  • Ensure proper hand-over to internal customers including training, documentation and support during start-up
  • Respect of SHE Rules for all manufacturing team (PPI, Waste selective improvement, energy and water consumption, ergonomics at workplace, SHE event and near miss records)


Required Experience & Competences:

  • Process, mechanical engineering or equivalent at university level
  • Min. 10 years process and project engineering experience within pharmaceutical environment
  • Technical experience on packaging, dry process equipment and Clean rooms including HVAC, Process & non-process utilities, BMS, Access Control, Airlock, construction management experience (green field and/or revamping)
  • Project management skills (incl. MS Project), PMI certification is an asset.
  • Able to take technical & quality decisions according to budget and deadline
  • Able to work and fullfill project planning during production shutdown and perform technical modification during production if required to meet projects deliverables
  • Fluent in English and French speaking/writing
  • Good automation, Mechanical & electrical skills
  • Leading technical projects in sterile environment will be a plus
