About the job

You Will Be Contributing To The Major Process And Digital Movements In IKEA Supply, Such As

We are looking for Enterprise Architects who will be responsible for leading, developing and successfully implementing the architecture in different transformational areas – always keeping in mind the holistic view and totality of IKEA.
  • Establishment of a new Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform for Order and Finance management within IKEA Supply. You will, as a part of the Supply Data & Technology department, together with peers lead the architecture work related to the Order and Finance platform development team.
  • As a part of the Architecture function take lead in defining the transformation for Supply, related to data architecture. Together with Data & Analytics and Information management function secure that IKEA can best benefit from the new product information model and the data hub built on a new data & analytics platform.
  • You will also be assigned to innovation and exploration initiatives supporting business leaders to capture new business model needs and translate that into initial ideas of how to take those further into solutions.
Experience from such transformation initiatives will be beneficial. You will secure alignment and close cooperation with business leaders, the development teams and other stakeholders. You are passionate about enterprise architecture and how that supports the digital transformation as a key to make life easier for the many people and make a clear footprint in line with the IKEA direction.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:
  • Lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to guide and lead the enterprise architecture deliverables assigned to you
  • Secure that architecture assessments for business initiatives are performed in line with defined ways of working
  • Within your specific business assignment, you are responsible for the development and delivery of the Inter IKEA:
  • Architecture Principles
  • Strategy
  • Target Architecture
  • Business Capabilities
  • Roadmap
  • Re-usable Patterns
  • Approved Exceptions
As a team member of the Architecture community, you support the Network of Expertise in specific architecture development areas and topics (e.g. Business Architecture, IT Architecture, Solution Architecture). In this role you will report to our Architecture Manager at IKEA Supply and work closely with the management teams of these transformation initiatives.

You are analytical and have a particular eye for details, still being able to relate to the bigger context and find ways to reach business goals and secure that architecture targets are considered. You are effective in communicating, able to present relevant content, create trust and by that navigate and lead the business and people in a complex and fast-changing business and technology environment.

You are highly motivated to delivery results by guiding business through people and collaborate and interact with different stakeholders in a global context. You are working close to peers, business leaders and other stakeholders and used to define architecture that capture business opportunities and deliver results with high sense of urgency.

You are a big fan of home furnishing and enjoy building a purposeful business by creating engaging and trustful relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and business partners. As a person you are appreciated for collaborative spirit and how you lead with strong focus on both technology and people.
