Concerning IT ambitions, the key factors for the program are the reduction of complexity of our global commercial solution landscape and replacing many legacy solutions with state-of-art technologies formed as one ecosystem and resulting in a “single source of truth” approach for many systems globally. The Role In this role, the individual will work as lead for data management product function that includes and not limited to master data management domains like customer, product, payers and affiliations as well as organizational data like commercial / medical territories, roster management and territory management. Responsibilities Support the data portfolio owner in shaping up the product strategy on master data and organizational data management in a multi domain setting Partner with and assist in defining the product requirements, developing the roadmap in the relevant areas Assess change requests that are produced for the defined core product as well as the ones coming in from different Roche affiliates for impacts within MDM and organization data management system as well as across the Roche EpiCX ecosystem. Participate, Lead and oversee agile sprints ensuring that the committed timelines are met by working across broader spectrum of functional groups in the Roche EpiCX program Manage and oversee internal staff assigned as well as vendor consultants assigned to the program, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality and budget. Proactively identify forward looking product features collaborating with peers and the overall data portfolio owner Have a clear vision on the product backlog, perform necessary prioritization of backlog items to sprints ensuring closure all the way to delivering to operational stages. Collaboratively work with other peers in the MDM product portfolio, including and not limited to data governance, data privacy and ongoing operational data management teams. Own & manage master data assets pertaining to customer, payer, product domains, in a global setting. Oversee relevant work and deliverables coordinating with assigned internal resources and external consultants (onshore/offshore). Manage & maintain stakeholder relationships in a cross functional environment relevant to the MDM and operational data management function. Create and own the budget at project level and ensure that the assigned projects are executed within the planned budget with high quality. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing Master data management function that includes domains like Customer, Product and Payers. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in commercial / medical Pharma - biotechnology industry. Strong knowledge of business processes involved in the master data management space including and not limited to data onboarding/ingestion, data profiling, data quality, match/merge and data survivorship Strong knowledge of industry leading best practices in the master data management and non master data management like field territory management, territory restructuring, roster management etc. in a multi country, cross-country and cross regional settings across the globe Strong knowledge of End-to-End business process relevant to commercial, medical and clinical data management in the life sciences industry Strong knowledge in cross platform integration, data sources analysis relevant to master data management. Good knowledge on large Pharma data governance, data privacy regulations like CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA compliance etc High proficiency in agile methodology in overseeing execution of projects in a cross functional setting, collaborating of large number of geographically distributed teams Proficient at creating strong relationships that foster the spirit of innovation, improvement, and collaborative solutions and developments Hands on expertise in leading master data management platforms like Reltio, Informatica, IBM master data management. Must be able to create and maintain End-to-End business process flow and business architecture diagrams. Proficient with tracking and managing multiple projects working with a variety of cross-functional resources (internal and external vendors) located in onshore (EMEA/US) and in offshore where applicable. High level of creativity, problem solving skills, ownership, integrity, transparency and flexibility in working across large geographically distributed team structure. Must be a self-starter, with strong interpersonal communication skills, able to constructively challenge status-quo and influence change towards larger benefits to the organization. *This position is location agnostic*
