Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Technology Strategy Manager, to join our growing Group Technology Organization. The role will report to the Technology Strategy and Governance Director, himself reporting to the CTO, and will be based in Malmo, Copenhagen or Geneva.

This is a permanent position, and uniquely offers an opportunity to impact on Verisure’s ambitious Technology developments and innovation programmes.Supporting the Director, you will contribute to delivering on the company’s strategy and you will be exposed to the company Management Team and Board.

You will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows.You can make a tangible positive impact across our Technology function to transform and add value, not only to our Company but the industry itself.

Our two Technology sites, in Madrid and Malmo, are major development centres in the connected smart home market. There, Verisure creates and develops services and products for home security and home automation.

Our Verisure Innovation teams in Malmö and Madrid are at the forefront of product development, design, and encryption services in home security. We have more than +500 R&D and IT experts providing full stack development capabilities. Our highly skilled and experienced product teams, continually push the boundaries, developing new ways to keep our customers safe. They work with urgency and passion, always innovating to protect our customers.

Being Technology Strategy Manager, you will play a critical role in accelerating the transformation of our Technology organization and impact the delivery of Verisure ‘s strategy. The role will be varied and you will interact closely with our senior leaders.

Strategy Development

• Support on development of our technology strategy across a broad range of topics, ranging from technical topics (e.g., approach to the use of analytics within alarm monitoring) to internal transformation topics (e.g., our way of working transformation) to critical commercial topics (e.g., driving business cases for major new programmes).
• Help design and plan our relationships with some of our key Technology vendors, working closely with the Business, Procurement, and Legal.
• Help ensure that the wider Technology programme is aligned with the broader business strategic intent
• Support on managing our internal governance and reporting rhythm both within technology and to our executive leadership
• Support other strategic projects under the direction of the Director as needed in order to support Technology acceleration across the Group

Location

The role is based in Malmo, Copenhagen, or Geneva.

Remuneration

Compensation package able to attract very high calibre candidates in the spectrum of this search.

Experiences and Qualifications

We are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who will have the opportunity for visibility and to learn from a growing and comprehensive Technology program and have a real impact on the business and the organization.

• Minimum of 4-6 years experience in technology-related fields from either, or a mix of: leading consulting firm and fast-paced/high performing engineering companies
• University degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences
• Excellent organization, presentation, and writing abilities
• Very strong analytical skills and capability to process information/data
• Good commercial acumen
• Experience of working in international companies and contexts, ideally international work experience outside of the country of origin
• Fluency in English
• Very high EQ and level of judgment
• An enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
