Turbocharging is a successful and profitable Division in a mature market and has been for long a highly self-reliant business within ABB. ABB has decided to take this step, acknowledging that for Turbocharging to realize its full potential going forward, a new setup is required. As the next step, alternative ownership options, including a spin-off to the Swiss stock market, will be assessed, considering value for customers, ABB and the future of the turbocharging business. As a Learning & Development Partner you will build and implement, based on a profound understanding of the business, its goals and priorities, effective learning & development programs and initiatives to support a high performance culture. This position reports to

Head of Group People & Advancement ABB Turbocharging

Your responsibilities

• Participate in the definition and implement the global culture, mission, values
• Define and implement the global L&D catalogue
• Oversee and align the offering of all individual and team training programs (both, outsourced and in-house) across geographies where appropriate
• Partner with the business managers and the HR community on learning and development best practices, develop HR community in this area
• Support change initiatives and measure effectiveness (relevant KPIs)
• Manage the overall assessment landscape within Turbocharging
• Support the execution of the employee performance reviews- and the engagement survey process.
• Ensure L&D data are available for business and people (Learning System from HR-IS) in close collaboration with HR Operations
• Vendor management for the L&D, Talent and Performance area

Your background

• University degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field, complemented by at least 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development as well as vendor coordination
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build strong and trustworthy relationships
• Integrity and the ability to cooperate with different stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in difficult situations
• Ability to work under pressure; flexibility to reach your goals by your own as well as working constructive within a team
• Fluency in English and German is required (written and spoken)
