Ihre AufgabenA responsible HR position on the international stage: In addition to working with a great and dynamic team, the position offers a high level of independence and extensive personal responsibility.Our client is a successful international commodity trading business with a focus on sustainability and renewables. The company, which is based in the canton of Zug, was founded in the 1990s and is recognized as a major player in the industry. This privately-owned business employs around 120 people at its headquarters in Switzerland. The team represents 25 different nationalities, each with their own culture and traditions. Tolerance, respect for people of any color, race, sexual orientation, or religion are placed high in the company’s value system. As part of an ongoing succession planning within Senior Management, we have been asked to find a service-oriented individual to assume the newly created position ofManager HRYou will report directly to Senior Management and lead a team of specialists. You are responsible for ensuring that from an HR perspective the strategic objectives of the company can be achieved. This means managing all processes throughout the HR lifecycle from personnel planning, recruitment, onboarding, training and career development to keeping abreast of developments in payroll - and employment law as well as overseeing administrative objectives. You and your team will play a central function in creating a sense of wellbeing among the employees by maintaining an open-door policy and an open mind. Initiating purposeful HR projects is just as much a part of your remit as HR process optimization.We are looking for a committed and trustworthy person who has completed advanced level training in the field of human resources (FH/University degree) and has several years of professional and managerial experience, preferably in an international trading company. You will have an open and communicative manner yet can also exercise discretion and tact. We are looking for a person who will command respect and trust, both from the management as well as the employees, who shows loyalty and is an outstanding communicator and skilled in conflict resolution. You will have a positive mindset and sufficient leadership qualities to lead management and colleagues in developing up to date personnel policies.
