ETRM Business Analyst / Project Manager (f/m)

What you will do

• You are responsible for the development of specialist concepts, specifications, evaluation of solution options, and acceptance of IT solutions using specialist and business management knowledge and taking into consideration cost-effectiveness, quality, and risks

• You define the features of IT solutions by deriving requirements from the business processes

• Controlling of internal and external project partners (IT service providers, consulting firms) during the execution phase of projects

• Ensuring low operative risks on the introduction of IT solutions / handover if these solutions to users and IT Operations

• Recognition, development, and coordination of improvement measures from an end-to-end perspective for cross-divisional or cross-department business processes

• You will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and transition requirements into deliverables

• You are the coach for Junior ETRM Business Analysts & Project Managers

What you bring & who you are

• University degree in the field of computer science and business administration

• You have a strong academic background, educated to degree level and / or equivalent professional qualification ( e.g. PRINCE2® Practitioner, PMI-ACP or similar )

• At least 3 years of experience in the field of commodities, finance or energy trading (power and gas) and exposure to ETRM systems (e.g. Endur, Murex, Allegro, CXL)

• Experience of various project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince 2) and the ability to choose the correct methodology on a per-project basis

• Several years of demonstrable experience in the design and development of ETRM systems

• You have excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  

About the team
The ETRM Business Analysis and Project Management team is part of the IT department (TIM) within Axpo Trading & Sales. The team is located with 11 employees in Baden (Switzerland), as well as in Warsaw (Poland) with 2 employees and in Madrid (Spain) with 3 employees. Our team thinks and works in an interdisciplinary way and are closely connected at national and international level.
