Our Commercial Europe and Canada Leadership team ( EUCAN LT) are recruiting for a meaningful role, the EUCAN LT PMO and Commercial Effectiveness Manager owns the Strategic Planning agenda for EUCAN as well as key Commercial excellence projects on behalf of the Region. They will chair the Regional Leadership Team (LT) Meeting, structuring impactful touchpoints with the LT, ensuring operational accuracy and a bias towards decision making. They will work closely with functional VPs to shape and maintain the annual Planning Calendar, Scorecard and Market Visit processes.

In addition, they are a core member of the Commercial team responsible for driving the performance management agenda as well as prioritised projects across Sales/SFE and Marketing excellence in collaboration with Commercial Directors and Global Commercial Excellence.

Key Accountabilities;

  • Chair to EUCAN LT, responsible for working with SVP, Regional VPs and CPs to design valuable operational and strategic agenda for the monthly EUCAN LT
  • Brings operational precision and structure to meetings through effective pre-briefing of speakers, implementing timely sharing of pre-reads, presentations and drives follow-up through structured meeting write-up
  • Leads and influences the EUCAN LT business planning agenda, working closely with HR, Finance, Medical and Commercial VPs to shape the format and schedule of Country Visits/ Reviews as well as developing and maintaining the Regional Business Planning Calendar
  • Responsible for coordinating the development of the EUCAN Scorecard in close collaboration with Medical, Commercial, HR, Finance and Sustainability VPs. Leads the process to collate and provide insights to Markets on local Scorecards
  • Establishes and leads the process and forum for commercial efficiency and execution performance management with Regional Commercial Team
  • Leads the operational roll-out of key cross-brand Marketing and Sales Excellence programmes across the EUCAN business
  • In alignment with development plan, leads key commercial projects on behalf of VP Commercial, partnering with TA Directors

Essential Skills;

  • Subject-matter expertise in Strategy Planning, Sales and Marketing, Digital Marketing and Innovation
  • Validated business partnering skills across multiple Business partner groups
  • Proven project management skills in matrix organisations
  • Experience of working with Senior Management Teams with good understanding of local decision-making dynamics
  • Evidence of the ability to pull together diverse teams over whom they have no line management responsibility
  • Experience of successful influencing cross functionally, cross-culturally and cross-brands
  • An excellent communicator; evidence of strong independence and innovative seeker of strategic solutions; a strongly conceptual problem solver
  • Pragmatism and can-do demeanour

This role is Zug (Switzerland)-based, occasional travel to Cambridge, UK (GIACE) and Priority MCs for market visits as well as F2F meeting locations. Operates across EUCAN LT and engages with EUCAN Markets.
