Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting set-up and performance of Seagen’s European Distribution Network

Responsibilities

Work with the Senior Manager European Distribution to:
  • Establish new distribution set-ups triggered through geographic expansion or re-tendering strategies
  • Triage and resolve EU distributor network related topics
  • Monitor performance/service levels (3PL’s) to ensure contractual KPI’s/obligations are achieved
  • Monitor Stock-in-Trade (wholesalers) to ensure optimal territory stocking (e.g. at period end, public holidays etc.)
  • Monitor Supply Chain integrity topics
  • Create/embed a robust EU distributor performance reporting suite / balanced scorecard
  • Work with Accounts Payable to verify and approve distributor monthly service fees and invoices, or other ad-hoc expenses
  • Work with IT and Business Intelligence to monitor daily data transfer from 3PL and expedite issue resolution
  • Support financial month-end inventory reconciliation process

Qualifications
  • Awareness of pharmaceutical distribution practices including Order-to-Cash, warehousing and transportation
  • Strong client-support skills
  • Capability to quickly establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • High business and analytical acumen
  • Proficiency to work in independently within a decentralized international organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent to distill complex distribution issues to essential elements for stakeholders throughout the organization with different abilities and responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive activities simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10%, or as required)
Education And Experience
  • 2 years of supply Chain management experience, preferably from within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Experience managing pharmaceutical supply through third parties to multiple customer delivery points
  • An awareness of EU legislation on Good Distribution Practice, 2013/C 343/01
  • An appreciation of Supply Chain integrity
  • Exposure to relationship management and influencing skills
  • Solid track record for analysis, accelerating supply and overcoming obstacles
  • Exposure to change management projects
  • Exposure to continuous improvement processes
  • IT competencies and Microsoft Office expertise
