Your role

Are you an experienced event specialist who is responsible for the execution of conferences, client events and corporate roadshows? Are you known for exceeding people’s expectations?

We’re looking for an Event Specialist from May to December 2023 to:

  • partner with stakeholders regarding objectives, content, attendees, timing and venue
  • act as an interface between internal clients and external suppliers
  • negotiate with suppliers, establish budgets and monitor spend throughout
  • develop marketing material and invitations following branding guidelines, and manage client registration process and experience
  • conduct post-event evaluation, issuing questionnaires and collating results, including attendance metrics and financials
  • work along local compliance / legal regulations at all times (incl. cross-border issues where applicable)

Your team

You’ll be working as part of the Client Marketing Team in Switzerland and work closely with global and regional strategists to meet the event needs of the Investment Bank businesses. Partnering with Marketing Production, we produce event material, coordinate conferences and manage client events.

Your expertise

  • proven ability to effectively juggle multiple projects in various stages of development, prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
  • negotiation skills, able to get the best price but knowing where quality cannot be compromised
  • excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and solid general administration skills
  • comfortable working with a diverse range of clients, within a varied organization, at all levels
  • full working proficiency in German and English
  • having worked in the financial industry before is an asset
