As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).Responsibilities►Prepare the work orders and assist the maintenance team in the definition of the tasks to perform at aircraft level based on applicable technical documents►Create the appropriate documentation (work orders) to perform job on the prototypes►Generate the applicable reporting towards the CPE relevant to defects/failures►Ensure availability of parts and consumable to support Prototype activities►Create the document (QN) and coordinate with CPE office to report defect and failures►Interact with production department to procure internal manufactured partsQualifications & Experience►Degree in engineering or business discipline►Minimum 5 years working experience in aerospace or equivalent industry in material management and logistic or engineering environments►5 years working experience in Manufacturing Engineering related tasks►Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-national team and in particular in a white and blue collar environment►Ability to promptly react to immediate material request, proactively and timely solve business issues►Familiarity with EASA requirements and standards (i.e. PART-21J/G, PART-M, CS 27, AC 27 etc.)►English, minimum C1 (verbal and written)Our offerWe are offering an exciting job opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment with room to grow in every dimension.Your next stepIf you are interested, please submit your complete application documents in English including the following attachments:– Cover letter– CV– Diplomas– Employment referencesPlease note, that this job is only open to candidates holding a valid Swiss Working Permit/ EU Nationals/ Swiss Nationals.Department of Engineering located in CH-8753 MollisTo apply for this job please please complete the following form .
