As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).Responsibilities►Prepare the work orders and assist the maintenance team in the definition of the tasks to perform at aircraft level based on applicable technical document►Generate the applicable reporting regarding the relevant defects/failures that occur on the experimental aircraft fleet and ensure they are managed according to the instructions provided►Create work orders and purchase orders to procure parts for prototyping►Interact with vendors to procure and expedite parts►Ensure that parts are available in accordance with scheduled prototype activities►Work in collaboration with Material Management, Procurement and Import/Export Department to organize appropriate and on time transportation/shipmentQualifications & Experience►Degree in engineering or business discipline►Minimum 5 years working experience in aerospace or equivalent industry in material management and logistic or engineering environments►Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-national team and in particular in a white and blue collar environment►Ability to promptly react to immediate material request, proactively and timely solve management material issues►Familiarity with EASA requirements and standards (i.e. PART-21J/G, PART-M, CS 27, AC 27 etc.)►English, minimum B2 (verbal and written)Our offerWe are offering an exciting job opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment with room to grow in every dimension.Your next stepIf you are interested, please submit your complete application documents in English including the following attachments:– Cover letter– CV– Diplomas– Employment referencesPlease note, that this job is only open to candidates holding a valid Swiss Working Permit/ EU Nationals/ Swiss Nationals.Department of Engineering located in CH-8753 MollisTo apply for this job please please complete the following form .
