The portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.

Position Summary

Support Actelion External Quality on administrative and basic GMP activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support External Quality Account Owners on External Manufacturer GMP documentation management (eg. Registration documents requests), on follow-ups on Change Controls, on routine commercial activities (eg. approval of MBRs),
  • Support the Actelion release team with maintenance of the Release Sharepoint (eg. documentation upload), incl. On-site support on various administration tasks (eg. shipment preparation, filing organization, archiving)

Who We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s in science Diploma required
  • Minimum of 2-4 Years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience, ideally in Quality Assurance, or working in a secretarial/administrative and project coordination role
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions and to understand and carry out detailed but limited written or oral instructions
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Highly detail-oriented and flexible with respect to taking on new responsibilities
  • Ability to make decisions independently and have the ability to work in a Team environment
  • Demonstrate willingness to assist when and wherever needed
  • Individual must possess effective management, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to produce the assigned deliverables to meet departmental and corporate goals and objectives
This role based in Allschwil (Switzerland) and will initially be limited to approx. 8 months, with the option for an extension.
