In order to reinforce our FBO Ramp department in Geneva we are currently recruiting for an

FBO Ramp Agent

The position is required to serve the customers’ needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation policy and procedures by performing the following duties.

Description/Tasks
  • Provide basic handling services such as porter service, valet parking, delivery of luggage and cargo from/to aircraft, etc;
  • Safe operation of ground support equipment (GSE);
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all FBO equipment in good operating condition and appearance;
Properly maintain passenger and crew facilities– lounges, shower, catering room, etc;
  • Supports supervisors/team leaders as required;
  • Fully adhere to all Jet Aviation and airport policies and all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Provide a positive and professional first impression by exhibiting the proper demeanor, organization, and service level to arriving and departing guests;
  • Greet customers in a welcoming, friendly and respectful manner;
  • Adhere to the department standards of excellence for exceptional customer service, grooming and dress code;
  • Ensure that all services provided are properly recorded in FBO1 for billing;
  • Increase customer satisfaction by understanding needs and responding quickly to them;
  • Operate Ground Support Equipment;
  • Adhere to the company, SMS/Reporting system;
  • Other duties as required.
Qualification/Experience
  • General education degree required, aviation experience and background is an advantage;
  • Valid driver’s licenses (B mandatory, C and CE beneficial);
  • Aviation Experience and GSE certification is an advantage;
  • Good command of written and spoken French and English, other languages are a plus;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers, supervisors, and peers
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and web based applications;
  • Competencies - ability to work in a team, independently and under time constraints;
  • Readiness to work under shifts (irregular hours).
