  • Independently install, maintain and repair our standard systems such as chromatography, protein and cell therapy systems, as well as customized systems such as process systems and ultrafiltration systems after appropriate training
  • Willingness to work on-call service and 24/7 hotline support
  • Very good IT skills, execution of network installations (installation, integration of the equipment into a customer network)
  • Instructing customers on newly installed devices
  • Proactive and independent planning and execution of customer visits in the context of service contracts, projects and maintenance blocks, combined with the development of long-term and trusting customer relationships
  • Dealing with challenging customer situations and complaint handling
  • Regular participation in trainings for technical innovations in Sweden or the US in English
  • Documenting customer visits and services in a timely manner
  • Manage own spare parts inventory including control and stocktaking
  • Support of Sales Account Manager and Sales Specialist, as well as active sales support of service products
Who You Are
  • Successfully completed electrical engineering apprenticeship (certification as electrical specialist required, separate certification if necessary) or Bachelor Biomedical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
  • Several years of experience in field service
  • Fluent in Englisch, very good knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
  • Technical-analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Working experience under GLP/GMP conditions
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • MS Office and PC skills
  • Communication skills, ability to work in a team
  • Basic knowledge in chromatography or similar technologies is an advantage
  • Car driving license
  • Residency is Switzerland or relocation is required
