About Our Client

For our client, an international operating company developing Medical Devices located in Lausanne, with its head office in the Netherlands.

Job Description
  • Manage company’s accounting and group reporting in accordance with the legislation in force.
  • Perform year end closing, prepare financial statement in line with US Gaap and audit files for external audit
  • Prepare the annual budget and periodical forecasts, in cooperation with RD manager and Finance dept. of head office
  • Professionalize management tools (incl. reporting and dashboard) for General Management and (informal) shareholders (word wide).
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s internal regulations (incl. description and optimization of the ICS)
  • Be first point of contact for development team, office management, local auditing team and Finance dept. of head office.
  • And pro-actively contribute to the rapid qualitative growth of the company
  • Manage all administrative aspects of Human Resources (preferably incl. salary administration).
You will start with the management of the SA in Lausanne and after small period of introduction have the opportunity to extend your span of control to the financial management and reporting of the Dutch Head office.

  • You want to be at the forefront of Finance and Accounting department and develop professional business processes. You will have the opportunity to build a structure to ensure the efficiency of the company.
  • You are interested in the medtech and medical devices sector.
  • You want to collaborate with a dynamic, experienced, and international team with great ambitions.
  • Have a Master’s degree in accounting, Control and Finance, in Management or an equivalent.
  • Have an extensive expertise in working with information tools (Financial software) and MS Office.
  • Have extensive experience with reporting (incl. consolidation) under Swiss GAAP and external audits.
  • Have good knowledge of local (Vaud) fiscal regulations (HRM).
  • Have a good working knowledge of French and English.
  • Have strong communication skills (working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team)
  • Work independent but also within a team, organized, flexible and loyal.
  • Be flexible and be able to adapt rapidly to new situations (startup eco-system/mindset).
  • Be quality and detail oriented with high standards.
