FINANCE ANALYST - SUPPLY CHAIN FP&A & SME SAP

We have a great job opportunity in our Supply Chain DACH finance team supporting and enhancing financial planning and analysis as part of Medical Devices HMD (Depuy Synthes, CSS, Ethicon). The DACH team has a dotted line to the global FP&A center of excellence with 5 team members locally in Zuchwil. The role will ask for many cross-function and cross-country collaboration.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial Master-data and financial processes withing ERP P01 that are crucial for accurate reporting, compliance, and FP&A activities. The analyst will report to the Senior Analyst Supply Chain FP&A. The role combines financial planning and analysis, US GAAP reporting and specialized technical system expertise in SAP and ask for committed professional that can easily navigate between these various responsibilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

SME (SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT) FOR SAP FINANCE ROLES ASSURING SYSTEM COMPLIANCE:

• Handling day-to-day access requests covering different systems: A14, Q14, P01, BI
• Acting as a finance product owner for HP ALM, S01 and Jira Products
• Monthly validation of SAP P01 Traceability Controls and maintaining SOD frameworks, ensuring no high risks exist in the system
• Performing semi-annual user access reviews (SAP P01, MDM) and lead Corrective Action Plans when needed
• Handling ad hoc questions and queries linking Business with IT
  
  

FINANCE EXPERT FOR SAP FINANCIAL MASTER-DATA & SYSTEM CONSISTENCY

• General Ledger creation, COA, Cost center, orders, and allocation maintenance / set-up
• Trial Balance and profit P&L structure (Bravo, Statutory)
• Other finance fields in SAP / Key User
• Local SharePoint and consolidation file maintenance/mappings for reviews and submissions
• Monthly FX validation in P01
• FI/CO Closing activities in SAP
• Cost allocation to operative cells for production sites in Oberdorf & Neuchatel and overhead allocation for all companies in scope
• Running and settling of internal orders for CAPEX and OPEX projects and allocation settlements
• Business partnering across finance on above processes
  
  

Fp&a And Reporting Responsibilities (us Gaap, Legal & Management)

• Reporting of financials in Bravo, TM1 and SharePoints for actuals and forecast cycles
• Investigate on gross profit for supply chain
• Drive harmonization and improvements across FP&A
• Drive automation initiatives to ensure bringing efficiency and business continuity in reporting (Various tools available Alteryx, Power-BI, PAX, Tableau, …)
  
  

Qualifications

• University/Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 4-5 year of working experience in finance
• CMA/CIMA Certification or equivalent accounting qualification
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft packages, SAP FI/CO, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance framework and controls
• Advanced Excel skills including Macros writing
• Experience with Analytics/Business Intelligence tools an advantage (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• Experience working with complex financial data structures and with data visualization tools
• Ability to work with teams in a virtual environment to meet the future needs of the business
• Critical sense of urgency and able to take appropriate action
• Shown success in managing projects & processes
• High confidence in English, other languages advantage
