Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the finance management team in realizing the financial objectives
  • Building a robust relationship with your business unit and proactively steer the business to ensure company goals are met
  • Having a proactive outlook on risks and opportunities, deliver input into strategic reviews and drive actions to mitigate risks and push opportunities
  • Running monthly closing and monthly planning processes
  • Ensuring SOX and accounting standards are upheld
  • Proactively strive for the integration of the Sunrise and UPC finance team

What we look for in an applicant:

  • Accounting or Controlling qualification or a university degree within Finance, Accounting or Controlling is a prerequisite
  • Proven start in Business Control and Finance Business Partnering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a dynamic, multinational finance environment
  • Experience in monitoring & interpreting of functional P&Ls, controlling spend, financial planning and reporting
  • Ability to cope with high pressure, meeting deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy, with validated skills to plan effectively, anticipate issues and solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with general business understanding who can translate budgets in business cases into operational impact assessments
  • Motivated, hardworking and driven team member with a strong focus on output and long-term vision
  • Excellent communicator who can work independently and make decisions.
  • Above all, you will be results-oriented, up for the challenge and have an ability to learn about all parts of our business
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing
