Position Summary

As a “Finance & Control Intern”, you will be supporting Internal Control and operational activities of Business Controllers.

A day in the life of a Finance & Control Intern

Support Internal Control activities
  • Ensuring that the respective level of risk identified within the Risk & Control Matrix is mitigated through documented compensating controls and/or newly identified key control activities.
  • Pursuing the development of effective and efficient controls via timely and effect formal communication with key stakeholders with respect to the resolution of internal control deficiencies.
  • Proposing continuous process improvement in compliance to Nestlé policies, instructions & guidelines.
  • Alignment with Controllers to ensure that all control deficiencies are resolved via collaboration with the appropriate internal stakeholders and to further identify process improvement opportunities based on audit results.
  • Research and recommend tools to improve the Internal Control environment at Nestlé by seeking out efficient and effective solutions (through automation and other preventive solutions).

Support Business Controllers
  • Contribute to preparation of monthly reporting and period end closing activities
  • Support Controller in daily operations task and transversal projects

What Will Make You Successful
  • Higher education in Finance, Business or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of finance in general
  • International experience and mobility is a plus
  • Experience with a well-known ERP (preferably SAP) and advanced knowledge of MS office (MS EXCEL)
  • Open-minded and proactive mindset coupled with strong business acumen and ethics
  • Fluency in French and English. Proficiency in (Swiss) German would be an advantage
