B2B Finance Controller / Zurich / 6 months minimum / CHF 50-70 per hour

Darwin Recruitment AG have a new open position at one of our key clients, where we are looking for a temporary external consultant to start as soon as possible.

General Information:

  • Start date: February / March
  • End date: July / August
  • Extension: High possibility
  • Workplace: Zürich
  • Workload: 100%
  • Remote/Home Office: Possible
  • Hourly Rate: CHF 50-70

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Driver and challenger of the commercial units to achieve their financial goals;
  • Lead and manage the unit in the budget and forecasting process;
  • Manage the monthly close and roll process;
  • Manage the Risk & Mitigation profile; flag areas of risks and opportunities to business unit and Head of B2C Business Control; support the business unit in developing mitigation strategies/options to achieve budget;
  • Develop robust planning tools together with the Non-Financial reporting team;
  • Act as business partner for the commercial team in operational and strategic topics; provide decision support and analysis to ensure key decisions are properly evaluated and fact based

Must Haves:

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and comfortably with senior leadership
  • Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • 2-7 years controlling experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
  • Fluent in English, German a plus

Nice to haves:

  • SAP or Oracle experience is a plus
