About Our Client

Our client is an internationally well-known company located in Zug and in the market for more than 40 years

Job Description
  • Detailed monthly IFRS P/L preparation and working capital reporting
  • Execute the month end trade accounting close per profit center based on IFRS
  • Review the trial balance for IFRS technical compliance
  • New transactions analyzing and concluding the appropriate accounting treatment under IFRS
  • Daily P/L reporting per desk
  • Position reporting on a daily basis per desk
  • Coordination of the department’s external and internal audit
  • Supporting Corporate Finance Operations (daily resolution of broker reconciliation breaks)
  • Control and review the department’s application access
  • Validate ’OTC’ deal entry and amendments against business confirmations and signed contracts
The Successful Applicant
  • Accounting background and min. 2 years trade accounting experience within a financial institution
  • Chartered Accounting qualification with "Big Four" articles experience
  • Knowledge of commodity trading systems and ERP integration
  • Working knowledge of ERP’s, especially SAP Fi/Co and BW
  • MS Office advanced knowhow, especially Excel
  • Business fluent in English
  • Keen interest in trading, derivatives, business process automation,
  • Good communication skills and structured work approach
